It’s the X Factor final next week – and the result is too close to call!
With Danyl Johnson’s elimination this weekend, the competition will now be decided between Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon and Joe McElderry.
Joe is easily the most consistent performer in the competition and thanks to some amazing performances in the past few weeks has become the favourite with the bookies, but what about the viewing public? Is Joe just too nice to win? Could it be the Diva from Dagenham? Or will another week of Olly dancing like your uncle at the Christmas Party be enough to push him over the edge?

There were a couple of surprise departures from our favourite celebrity reality shows over the weekend. First, John and Edward were eliminated from The X Factor after finding themselves in the bottom two with Olly Murs, and then kicked out by Dannii Minogue.
While Jedward’s oddly gimmick-free version of Boyzone’s No Matter What in the sing-off was arguably the most painful thing we’ve seen on television this year, it’s still somewhat shocking to see them go. And a little bit sad, too – while it’s fair to say it really should be a singing competition, X Factor won’t quite be the same without them. It’ll be interesting to see if the show’s incredible viewing figures take an immediate dive.
In the meantime, Murs, who has been a favourite with the bookies for several weeks now, finds himself now in third place, behind Stacey Solomon and new-favourite Joe McElderry. (You can still get the awful Lloyd Daniels at 33-1.)
Earlier this morning, it was announced that Katie Price, aka Jordan, had followed-through on her announcement that she was going to quit I’m A Celebrity, as she promptly walked out of the jungle. Price, who was facing a seventh-consecutive bushtucker trial as nominated by the British public, may now lose her reported £350,000 appearance fee, but added, “If I walk out, then I don’t need the money. Others in there do. I don’t. I’ve got money. I have just done a big book tour. This isn’t about the money anyway.”
